Domain Name.
If you haven’t purchased a domain yet - perfect! You actually get a free .com address when you subscribe to your annual Squarespace plan. However if you would like .com.au or .shop we would suggest Crazy Domains (see link below).
If you’ve already purchased a domain name, please provide the host company’s name, email/username and password. If you work with an IT company and you’re happy with their service and pricing, we can keep your domain name with them and just point it to your new website. We will supply you with the relevant information to pass onto them. Domain names are around $30 per year and custom email address around around $8 - $11 per month per user for the full Google Suite.
Social Media Information
If you would like an auto-updating Instagram gallery on your website, you will need to provide login information (username and password).
Style.
If you have any sites that inspire you, please supply this before commencing the project.
Photos
If you have specific photos you would like to use or have a selection of photos you’ll like us to make a selection from, we would suggest sharing it with us using Wetransfer or Dropbox. Your website would look best with the highest quality photos so sending over via email is not suggested. If this a website redesign, we need the original photo files so we can optimise them for best loading speeds from the original. For maximum website conversation, we suggest high quality photos, if you do not have them, we may replace the main banner images with stock photos.
Written Content.
We have a template to help supplying the information easier, we will send this through a Google Doc. If this is a redesign and you’re not making any changes to the copy, we can grab it from the current website. We do suggest ensuring this is SEO-optimised and can not be improved on as we base our design on the content, not the other way around. We also have a storybrand method that can help if you need direction on how to optimise your home page design.
