ACCEPTING YOUR QUOTE

You’ve most likely received your quote already. Please review the pages and functionality included as we quote based on your page number and the coding required. Please reach out if you need any clarification. Please provide written acceptance of the quote via email or press ‘Accepted’ on the quote directly.

Please note.

We’re always happy to hear our client’s companies are growing. However, if you do have an upcoming hire, let’s say, a marketing manager, we suggest holding back on this project as their input may greatly impact the scope of the project and will affect costings. Secondly, you will be responsible for ensuring that your web hosting charges are paid directly to Squarespace. More information on that is at the bottom of your quote.

Depending on how you got in contact with us and what stage of the business you’re at we may have already touched base on the things required to start your website design process but here is a checklist of what you need in case you haven’t yet filled in our Google form.

FIRST DRAFT

Usually, the website build takes two weeks after all the information, has been submitted. We usually don’t start the project until all the information has been submitted.

Please view your website on a DESKTOP. The mobile optimising of your website will occur after the final changes after the desktop site are finalised. Your website will also be hidden from Google during the build phases.

GIVING FEEDBACK

We use Markup.io for feedback - you will be sent a link to this software and you can comment directly on the section you would like to be amended. If you need help with the software, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
Take your time with feedback and speak with all decision-makers before sending the feedback to us. Ideally, you would have included all your changes within one email, ensuring allowing fewer mistakes to be made with all the information in one place.

ITERATIONS

SEO

After we have optimised your website for mobile, we will add internal SEO. However, we do not provide ongoing SEO support and recommend hiring an SEO specialist. If you require these services, we have an expert who specialises in Squarespace websites we have worked with previously and can provide an introduction.

TWO ROUNDS of CHANGES

For the majority of projects, we include two rounds of changes, unless specified before within the quote. For clarification, once we present the changes to you, it’s counted as one round of changes.

UPGRADE YOUR SQUARESPACE ACCOUNT

We will send through a video with instructions on how to upgrade your Squarespace account.

FINAL STEPS

TESTING YOUR FORMS

We will connect the forms on your website to Google Forms as a backup database. You will be invited via Google, so please check your spam folder if you have not received this email. Also, please note which email is connected to this account, as we do not have access to your login details due to privacy laws. After you have accepted the invite - you can test your forms to become familiar with the process.

DOMAIN NAME CONNECTING

You may connect as many domain names as you please to your website. Please let us know which address you would like as your primary, and we will redirect all the other addresses to point to that one. We will need the domain name company, the domain name address, password and username of each to connect. Some domain names can take up to 72 hours to import. NOTE: Please also ensure you have backed up your emails PRIOR to this step.
